Today I am thankful for a clean house! Not just one room, or one counter, or the table top. But the whole shebang. That corner counter in the kitchen that I pile and ignore…clean! The table that I also pile but is not so easy to ignore...clean! I dusted the house, every little shelf and nic-nac! I even made it to the bedroom. I could have won an award for the most dust collected on a single rag! The bathrooms are cleaned, right down to the floors and trash cans. You should see my scrappin’ room…not only can you see the floor, you can walk out to the balcony without jumping hurdles and the closet door actually does close! It. Feels. S-o-o. Good.!!!!
I have not had a cleaning routine since we moved. I would clean here or there but still have dirty here and there! Then today I was having a friend over. She was going to put a verse on newly painted red wall. She could have written her name in the dust on the sideboard so I knew I needed to dust. And I just kept right on dusting, and de-cluttering and putting away! Like I said before, it feels so good.
I had a hard time getting a photo without a glare from the wall or the picture on the wall. So I went with the wall!
It looks so nice! I really like it! Thank you Wally for painting it and Renee for ordering and applying my verse! Well, the only thing that can top off this thankful feeling I have is if you could stop by for a chat and a cup of coffee!

I love the red color you chose. Is that the same shade as your kitchen in Aurora?
